Believing that AIDA has a social obligation to treat personal information appropriately in its business activities, we have established the following policy regarding the protection of personal information. We will use this page to notify the public of any revisions that are made to this policy.
1. Compliance with Relevant Laws and Guidelines Regarding the Proper Treatment of Personal Information
AIDA will treat personal information properly in accordance with Japan's Personal Information Protection Law and other laws and regulations, and also in accordance with the "Guidelines for the Protection of Personal Information" and other guidelines.
2. Comprehensive Safety Management Measures
To safely manage personal information, AIDA will take necessary and appropriate measures relating to internal management and supervision, employee education, and contractor supervision as it strives to prevent the leakage, loss, and/or compromising of personal information.
3. Principles Governing Our Treatment of Personal Information
(1) Usage Purpose
AIDA will not use the personal information acquired in accordance with the provisions of 1) above beyond the scope of the usage purpose without the direct consent of the customer. AIDA will use personal information it has acquired for the following purposes.
For product planning & development in relation to AIDA and AIDA Group products, AIDA Service, or events such as exhibitions and/or for the creation of questionnaire surveys, for data analyses, and for statistical data creation in order to further improve customer satisfaction.
For performing business tasks, such as responding to customer inquiries and providing rapid service.
For compliance based on the provisions of laws and regulations or on guidance from administrative authorities.
Other usage purposes that were clearly specified at the time the personal information was acquired.
There may be occasions where AIDA will share your personal information in the following ways.
(3) Disclosure to Subcontractors
AIDA may subcontract the handling of acquired personal information of customers to a third party to the extent necessary to fulfill the usage purposes given in (1) above.
In such cases, AIDA will appropriately supervise the subcontractor's handling of personal information.
(4) Disclosure to Third Parties
Except in the following cases, AIDA will not provide personal information acquired in accordance with the provisions of 1) above to a third party without the consent of the customer.
If you wish to disclose, correct, add or delete, suspend or delete, or block the disclosure of your personal information that is in the possession of AIDA in accordance with the procedures prescribed by AIDA, please contact AIDA's Privacy Policy Inquiry Desk (see below). We will explain the necessary procedures for doing such.
